Is Raft on Xbox? Yes, and Here's How to Play It in 2026

Raft is on Xbox. The ocean-survival hit from Redbeet Interactive landed on Xbox Series X|S on December 4, 2024, after six years as a PC-only Steam title, and it’s been sitting on the Microsoft Store ever since.

Ask this two years ago and the answer was a flat no. Plenty of pages still say so.

Cloud saves matter more here than the spec sheet suggests. A Raft world represents dozens of hours of scavenging, hauling, and slow expansion outward from a single plastic barrel, so losing one to a console swap or a failed drive would sting in a way it simply doesn’t in a game you finish over a weekend. The 4K and frame-rate numbers get the billing, but this is the line that protects your time.

The publisher is Axolot Games and the developer is still Redbeet Interactive, the small Swedish studio that shipped the original. The Xbox release arrived alongside a PlayStation 5 version on the same day.

GeForce NOW remains an option too. NVIDIA’s supported games list carries Raft as a streamable Steam title, which suits anyone who already bought it on PC and would rather not pay twice. You stream through the Edge browser on the console.

One thing to fix first: if Xbox remote play isn’t working on your setup, sort that out before you judge any streaming path, because a flaky local network makes every cloud service look worse than it deserves.
