3. Your IP-based location now appears as the VPN server’s city.

Important limitation: A VPN doesn’t spoof GPS coordinates. Apps like Find My, Google Maps, or Snapchat that use your iPhone’s actual GPS will still show your real location. VPN is useful for masking location from websites and browser-based tracking only.

#Can You Use Another iPhone as Your Fake Location?

If you want your contacts in iMessage and Find My to see a fixed location while you’re elsewhere, a second iPhone can broadcast a static position.
