He sets the editorial direction, owns the iOS and iPadOS beat, and personally tests every major iOS release on a rotating fleet of iPhones (currently a 12 mini, 13, 14 Pro, 15, and 16 Pro) plus an iPad Air and an iPad Pro. How Jason tests
Personally tests every major iOS and iPadOS release on a rotating fleet — iPhone 12 mini, 13, 14 Pro, 15, and 16 Pro, plus an iPad Air and iPad Pro. Fixes are reproduced on real hardware before publishing and re-checked when a new iOS build ships.
